The EM-6866 radiating loop is used to radiate a magnetic field from 30 Hz to 100 kHz for conformance testing to Radiated Susceptibility Test RS101 of MIL-STD- 461D/462D. The Model EM-6867 Radiating Loop Calibrator is used in conjunction with the EM-6866 Radiating Loop Antenna to verify the magnetic field generated by the EM-6866 as required by RS101 of MIL-STD-462D.

The wire coil of the radiating loop is wound on a form that positions the coil 5 cm from one end. When placed against the EUT, the coil will be the 5 cm distance required by Test RS101. The input signal is applied to the loop via two (2) 5-way binding posts. When used in conjunction the EM-6867 loop calibrator and the EM-6866 will generate calibrated magnetic fields at a 5 cm distance from the center of the coil winding.
